In this episode of Nonprofit Spotlight, Stephanie Engs talks with Tara Laurie-Manson, the founder, and CEO of Youth World Education Project (YWEP). She recognizes one of the best ways to bring about change is through education. Following high school, she pursued her academic studies in psychology and education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wayne State University and a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Arizona. Tara shares the mission, vision, and some of the initiatives and programs from the Youth World Education Project, including their Raise Up program for boys ages 13-20.
