In this episode of Nonprofit Spotlight, Stephanie Engs talks with Michelle Don Carlos, the President and Founder of Mending Souls. Michelle shares how Mending Souls partners with a variety of organizations like the Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse, Youth on Their Own, and Human Society as well as hospitals and first responders to manufacture and donate supplies for the communities they serve. Mending Souls is an all-volunteer organization offering free classes in paper and fiber arts with a free library that is open to the community. They have produced over 180,000 items for groups in the Tucson community, Tribal Nations, and as far as El Paso.
